Our final day at the Bradford Animation Festival started with watching the Official Selection for the Short, Shorts. My favourites from this showing were “Mute”,”Ain’t No Fish”, and “Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared II: Time”

After the Short, Shorts, we went to the Double Negative Showtalk – Chris McLaughlin, before going to the Screentalk of Michel Ocelot in Conversation With Paul Wells and then watched his work on the Feature Screening of the Tales of the Night and The Three Inventors.

Not long after the feature screening, we went to the ASIFA 2014 Award and Screening, to which Joanna Quinn was the recipient of the award. We then watched her work, before watching the Awards Ceremony for the fesitival and then headed over to the Midland Hotel for the BAF Closing Night Party.

At the party, Hakan, Bethany, Summer, and I, managed to get in conversation with Colin Graham, the Animation Director for Ubisoft Montreal’s Watch_Dogs, who kindly spoke to use about the industry, how to get into the industry and other interesting things, which was a great way for us to end the night and come to the end of our time at the Bradford Animation Festival.
